瀧原宮 / Takiharanomiya

2 years ago, I went to the shrine instead of Ise Grand Shrine not to be in crowd.
Being among too many people gives me headache naturally.
The small shrine has almost the same design and style as the most famous one.

I'd thought there is a few tourists.
However many people came to pray for the happy next year
as police opened a extra temporary parking space.
Normally a roadside station is used as car parking
but the place was fully filled when I arrived there.

Some people wore Japanese Kimono clothes.

Takiharanomiya enshrines 4 gods and has 4 buildings and sites
for moving the buildings respectively.

Some staffs, called Eji, patrol and secure the shrine which has relation
with the Japanese Emperor the same as Ise Shrine.
It maybe rare to see Eji somewhere except for in the shrine.

4 wooden  buildings has each different designs has lasted for thousands of years.
