国立科学博物館 / National Science Museum

I'd wanted to visit the National museum for many years.
I'm a bit jealous of people who live in Tokyo because of
their numerous opportunities to see great museums and buildings.

The lathe machine is of of the oldest one made in Japan.
It's the same as the UK, that the machine is powered by leather belt
which is connected to a screw set on the wall.

Tons of vacuum tubes are set on a calculator.
I heard that old computers are so big and fill up room somewhere,
but I didn't understand that.
The large calculator made me know how big they are.

I've seen many and many almost the same as infinity times the periodic table in many ways.
All nonradioactive elements are collected on the table.
That's so impressive for people whoever learned science or engineering.

Many fossils are shown much more than somewhere local small museums.

Practical glass instruments are sold as souvenir.
Using such glasses as cups may interesting,
however it's too much for me to handle when I'm in the company and home.
